Not every bit of kit gets replaced at the same time, and plenty of us still have older power banks that are still going strong. Since the LOFI controller moved to USB-C, I’ve had a few of you asking whether you can still use your existing USB-A power banks… now you can.

This little adapter is the answer. Weighing just 3.5 grams, it allows the latest LOFI controller cable to plug straight into older USB-A power banks, and It’s small enough to leave plugged into your power bank permanently.

The C to A adapter is designed for use with the LOFI stove and a standard 5V USB power bank, and as such I’m no longer making the USB-A cables.

It still behaves like the old USB-A port, so it doesn’t support USB-PD or fast-charging. If you’ve got a trusty old power bank sitting in a drawer, there’s no reason it can’t keep powering your Stove for years to come.
